Sany excavator: a new driving force for green development
Recently, Sany Marine completed the delivery of 53 all-electric trucks customized for Ningbo Port.
This batch of pure electric truck is developed for port conditions, which is more in line with port requirements. It adopts direct motor drive and has integrated thermal management and braking energy recovery functions, which can save 5 kilowatt-hours of electricity per hour. The maximum traction mass of the whole vehicle is 70 tons, the capacity of the battery pack is 282 kilowatt-hours, the air conditioning is turned on under full power, and the endurance mileage under port conditions is not less than 120 kilometers.
Compared with the traditional internal combustion engine truck, the Sany electric truck has a low cost of use. The cost per TEU of a single vehicle can be reduced by 80%. The pure electric truck has no tail gas emissions and can reduce carbon emissions by 270 tons/year. At the same time, the noise is low and the driving environment is more comfortable. At present, the batch of 53 pure electric trucks have been put into operation, which has injected new energy into the development of Ningbo Port’s green port while helping the port’s production and operation capacity to be fully released.
